Application


1‌. Glass and ceramic coloring: Neodymium oxide can be used as a coloring agent for glass and ceramics, which can enhance the color and stability of pigments.

2. Alloy manufacturing: In metal processing, neodymium oxide can improve the performance of alloys. For example, adding 1.5% to 2.5% nano neodymium oxide to magnesium alloys or aluminum alloys can improve their high-temperature performance, airtightness, and corrosion resistance, making them widely used in aerospace materials.

3‌. Strong magnetic materials: Neodymium oxide is a raw material for manufacturing strong magnetic neodymium iron boron materials, which have important applications in the fields of electronics and motors.

4. Laser technology: Nano yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) doped with nano neodymium oxide can generate short wave laser beams, which are used for welding and cutting thin materials in industry, as well as laser surgery in medicine.

5. Rubber products and additives: Neodymium oxide is also used in rubber products and additives to enhance their performance.
